We sell specific quantities of weed mat, insect netting, silage film and accessories through ActiveVista which are shipped directly from the supplier.

For customers living in Southern Tasmania we have limited quantities of weed mat and other associated equipment available on site through the farm so please contact us for further details.

At Longley Organic Farm, different permabed covers are used for the growing season, for soil cover or for pest cover as well as during winter dormancy or after cover cropping.

The advantages of weed gunnel garden bed covers are protected soil surface for moisture and microbes, increased bed warming while plants are not big enough for blanket shade and weed suppression.
