Uses:
- Sow large-seeded crops (beans, peas, sunflowers)
- Plant or “touch up” Paper Chain Pots used with the Paperpot Transplanter
- Plant flower bulbs, garlic, onion sets
- Gently hill (cultivate) young root crops (beets, carrots, onion)
- Side dress with granular fertilizers
To use for seeding/planting:
Cut a trench in the soil using the angled opening blade. Flip it over to fill in the furrow using the contoured closing blades.
Specifications:
- Closing blades are 120mm H x 145mm L, and spaced approximately 70mm apart (in the front) and 170mm apart (in the back).
- Opening blade is 45mm W x 50mm L.
