- A Regulator should always be used. A Squeeze Valve is highly recommended. Both of which are not included but sold separately.

Will not Hurt the Soil Life: Soil is an excellent insulator so flaming does not affect the life within your soil.
Easy to Light and Wind Resistant: Once you set your adjustable regulator, lighting is a breeze. The flame blade is uniquely wind resistant and will stay lit even when it gets gusty.
Perfect for Growing Beds: Flame weeders are designed to kill young weeds in farm rows and garden beds. They are unable to penetrate the soil to kill roots and are thus ineffective at killing established plants.
Safety: Always use a flame weeder with a regulator and a squeeze valve. Keep temperatures low. Weeds die at 70 C. Using a flame weeder at higher temperatures will not be more effective but it will damage the tool and is dangerous. When in doubt, turn the temperature way down.
