Neversink Aquifer Field 4 Stand Kit (w/out ag pipe)
The Aquifer Field Irrigation Kit contains sprinkler irrigation to cover an area of approximately 275 m²
Kit includes:
- 4 Sprinkler 63.5 cm stands with stainless steel stepping stakes,
- 4 High performance wobblers
- One Hose adapter (swivel)
- One End of the mainline figure eight closure
Please note: you will need to supply your own 3/4″ mainline low density poly pipe.
Specifications for Wobblers
Wobblers are a fantastic sprinkler head because they operate well in a large pressure range and water evenly every time with an adequate water source.
Each sprinkler head (Senniger Xcel Wobbler High Angle with a gray #9 3.57mm nozzle) specifications are as follows;
Pressure – Flow (lpm) – Diameter in metres at 45cm.
- 10 psi – 6.86 – 13.4
- 15 psi – 8.33 – 14.4
- 20 psi – 9.61 – 15.4
- 25 psi – 10.75 – 16.0
Recommended ideal pressure is 20 psi or higher. Max Pressure is 85 psi though flow and spray diameter will cap at 10.75 lpm and 15.85 metres for each wobbler. Expect to need 9.46 lpm of flow for each wobbler.
While pressure regulators are not recommended for most system installations, you do need pressure regulators to achieve the intended distribution pattern and application rate. If used, they would be installed directly under every wobbler.
